Many years ago, you would have seen me staying busy and totally disconnected from my mind and body. I was feeling both mentally stressed and physically worn out. I felt frustrated and didn’t know where to look for support. I was struggling with my energy levels, emotionally I was drained, and I knew something needed to change.
I looked around at people I looked up to and admired, and felt I was being left behind as they were living a full life. They were living fully now. I knew if I kept doing the same thing in life, nothing would change. Losing a close relative was a massive wake-up call and reminded me how precious life is, which inspired me to take steps to live fully in the now.
Around that time, I met with Swami Sarasvati, a hatha yoga guru who had introduced yoga to Australia in the ’70s through her segments on commercial television. From her traditional teachings, I discovered the power, peace, and vitality that come from connecting the breath with movement. And witnessing how the simplest of movements bring a benefit.
Like many people, my early perception of yoga was that I had to look a certain way or wear a certain brand of clothes.
I soon discovered this was far from the truth.

We cover all the essentials in our 40-minute sessions via Zoom.
We start with settling in and connecting to your breath, warming up the body then moving through a range of movements to balance and benefit your health.
Hatha is a slower and intentional style of yoga (see answer below) which are covered in two session types you get to select from:

With years of teaching yoga, we continue to witness the greatest benefits when sessions are completed in the morning. 40-minute sessions are offered at 5.30am, 6.15am and 7.00am AEST, Monday to Friday.

What type of yoga do you do?
Hatha yoga originated thousands of years ago. Some say Hatha is the ‘Mother’ of yoga.
The ‘Ha’ represents the sun, while ‘tha’ represents to moon.
Consistently practicing Hatha yoga brings balance to these two energies.
In simple terms, Hatha yoga aims to bring total balance to your mind and body through connecting your breath with body movement (poses).
We start with settling in and connecting to your breath, warming up the body then moving through a range of movements to balance and benefit your health.
The movement is generally slow and supportive, so you feel vitalised yet calm at the same time.
There are lots of yoga on demand options available, how is this different?
Studies have shown that we are 95% more likely to reach a goal if we have accountability versus relying purely on motivation. Therefore, booking into a live session, you are more likely to consistently show up and receive the results you want, than if you need to attend a class offline or motivate yourself to search a video library and complete the video all the way to the end.
How do I book into sessions?
You have the option to book in either via the website or a mobile app. Bookings can be completed up to 45 minutes before a session, if the session is not already full. Session cancellations are required 1 hour before the session, otherwise the session is counted as attended.
What if I am not tech savvy?
We recommend using laptop, tablet or smart phone devices for your Yoga Anywhere. Don’t worry - you’ll receive an email with step-by-step instructions on to how to book and join your sessions along with all the tips to maximise your experience
